Introduction
Equipment Structure Health Monitoring and Prognostics Institution of CIS is delighted to sponsor Best Student Paper Awards and Best Poster Awards at The 6th International Conference on Structural Health Monitoring and Integrity Management(ICSHMIM2024), held at Zhengzhou, China. Technical abstracts are invited in all areas relevant to the ICSHMIM2024. The ICSHMIM2024 Topics include, but are not limited to:
- Intelligent sensors and sensor networks
- Advanced structural health monitoring technology and system
- Big data fusion, storage, and mining processing technology
- Theory and Methods of Structural Damage Identification
- Structural Health Status Diagnosis and Performance Evaluation
- Advanced structural damage/failure/failure prediction techniques and methods
- Virtual Implementation Technology and System for Structural Health Monitoring
- Structural Design and Intelligent Structures Based on SHM
- Structural Health Monitoring Technology and System Applications
- Structural Health Monitoring Standards and System Certification
Best Student Paper Awards
- The first author must be registered at an accredited college/university/institute as a full-time student.
- Only abstracts submitted via the Conference Submission System are eligible for the Student Paper Competition. The submitted abstract of research should not be published or accepted elsewhere.
- Upon acceptance of the abstract, a full paper in DOC/DOCX/PDF format (maximum size: 5 MB), verification of student identity and application form must be submitted via the Conference Submission System before September 30, 2024..
- The organizing committee of ICSHMIM2024 will select 12 student papers as finalists for the Student Paper Competition (SPC).
- The finalist papers must be presented by the first author in the SPC Session at ICSHMIM2024 on site.
- All finalist papers will be judged by the SPC committee members using multiple criteria based on technical quality and presentation effectiveness. The judges will identify one First-prize Student Paper, two Second-prize Student Papers, and three Third-prize Student Papers.
- Each first author of the outstanding papers will receive a special certificate. In addition, ¥ 5000 will be awarded to the first author of the First-prized Student Paper; ¥ 3000 will be awarded to the first author of the Second-prized Student Paper; ¥ 2000 will be awarded to the first author of the Third-prized Student Paper.
- The first authors must register for ICSHMIM2024 and must attend the Closing Ceremony where the winners will be announced and presented with their awards.
Best Poster Awards
- Only submitted posters via the Conference Submission System are eligible for the Poster Competition (PC).
- The poster must be presented by the first author in the poster session at the ICSHMIM2024.
- All posters will be judged by the PC committee members using multiple criteria based on visual appeal, technical content and answers to questions. Three best posters will be selected.
- Each first author of the best posters will receive a special certificate. In addition, ¥ 2000 will be awarded to the first author of the best posters.
- The first authors must register for ICSHMIM2024 and must attend the Closing Ceremony where the winners will be announced and presented with their awards.

Sept 30 - Submit an Abstract of the Proposed Paper or Poster via the Conference Submission System (https://icshmim.china-sic.net/).
Sept 30, 2024 - Submit the application form, full paper and verification of student identity for the Student Paper Competition and the poster for the Poster Competition, via the Conference Submission System.
Oct 15, 2024 - Receive notification of the Finalists for the Student Paper Competition.
November 8-10, 2024 - Present Paper or Poster at ICSHMIM2024.
November 10, 2024 - Attend the ICSHMIM2024 Closing Ceremony.
